Free Social Bundles — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Fastlink’s Free Social Bundles. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By activating or using any Free Social Bundle (the Offer), you agree to the terms below in addition to Fastlink’s General Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

 


 

Quick summary

 

  • Included apps: Facebook, Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Data charging: Usage inside the included apps does not consume your main data.

  • Not included: Video and voice calls are excluded across all included apps. External links, ads, app updates, and content outside the listed apps consume your main data.

  • FUP: A Fair Usage Policy applies. After reaching high‑speed limits specified by your bundle, speeds may be reduced for the remainder of the validity period.

  • Devices: Device eligibility depends on the specific bundle. Check your bundle details in the Fastlink App.

Important: Video and voice calls are not included in the Free Social benefit for any bundle.

 


 

1) Eligibility & Activation

 

1.1. The Offer is available to Fastlink customers with eligible bundles shown in the Fastlink App or on the official website.

1.2. Activation, validity, and price vary by bundle and location. Please check the specific bundle page before purchase.

1.3. The Offer activates once your payment is confirmed and remains valid for the stated bundle period.

 


2) Included Apps

 

2.1. The Free Social benefit applies only to the following apps: Facebook, Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok.

2.2. Eligible usage includes browsing feeds, reading posts/messages, viewing images, stories, and short clips within the listed apps.

 


 

3) What’s not included (charged from main data)

 

3.1. Voice and video calls (including in‑app calls via Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok) are excluded.

3.2. Opening external links (e.g., YouTube, news sites, maps) or in‑app webviews to third‑party websites.

3.3. Advertisements, auto‑played videos from third‑party CDNs, and content delivered via embedded players not hosted by the listed apps.

3.4. App updates, app store downloads, OS updates, backups, and any traffic outside the seven listed apps.

3.5. Use via VPNs, proxies, or traffic masking tools may not be recognized as eligible and will be charged from your main data or blocked.

3.6. Hotspot/tethering usage is not included in the Free Social benefit. Tethered traffic will be charged from main data (or may be blocked depending on the bundle/device policy).

 


 

4) Fair Usage Policy (FUP) & Speeds

 

4.1. All Free Social Bundles are subject to a Fair Usage Policy.

4.2. Each bundle specifies its own high‑speed data allowance and the speed applied after reaching that allowance. After you reach the high‑speed threshold, your connection speed may be reduced (e.g., up to 4 Mbps) for the remainder of the validity period.

4.3. Network experience may vary based on coverage, congestion, device type, and app behavior.

 


 

5) Devices & Compatibility

 

5.1. Device eligibility depends on the bundle:

  • Certain bundles are for smartphones only 

  • Other bundles may support smartphones, MiFi, and routers (e.g., some 39K/69K offers).

5.2. Please check your specific bundle details in the Fastlink App before purchase.

5.3. Device settings (e.g., autoplay, HD/SD preference) may impact how much data is consumed from main data vs. Free Social benefit.

 


 

6) Charging Rules & App Behavior

 

6.1. Content within the seven included apps is generally covered; however, content delivered from third‑party domains, CDNs, or embedded players may consume your main data.

6.2. Opening links that take you outside the included app, loading external webpages, or playing videos hosted outside the app’s primary domain(s) will consume your main data.

6.3. App updates from the App Store/Google Play and OS updates are not included.

 


7) Payment, Renewal & Refunds

 

7.1. Payment methods include (subject to availability): Fastlink balance and First Iraqi Bank (FIB).

7.2. Once activated, bundles are non‑refundable except where required by applicable law.

 


 

8) Changes to the Offer

 

8.1. Fastlink may change, pause, or end the Offer (or revise these Terms) at any time to reflect operational, technical, or regulatory requirements.

8.2. Significant changes will be communicated through official channels (e.g., Fastlink App, website, or SMS) where required.

 


 

9) Liability & Disclaimers

 

9.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fastlink is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from or in connection with the Offer.

9.2. Service availability depends on network conditions, device compatibility, and third‑party app behavior, which may change without notice.

 


 

10) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG) and Iraq, as relevant.

10.2. Courts with jurisdiction in the KRG shall have non‑exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to the Offer.
