Erbil marathon

The international appeal of the Erbil International Marathon was huge, as it drew the participation of over 15 countries. Notable among the participating nations were Iran, Turkey, the USA, the UK, Kenya, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and an array of other nations from which people traveled to Erbil just to participate in this annual marathon. Fastlink, proudly served as one of the primary sponsors for this year's highly anticipated Erbil Marathon. The event lasted between 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM. The marathon showcased an impressive array of athletic talent and enthusiasm, as it featured a diverse set of categories catering to various skill levels and interests. At the forefront was the 2 km run, deliberately crafted for fun, making it particularly appealing for both novices and those seeking a lighthearted athletic challenge. This particular run lasted 30 minutes. The event also had a 12 km run, a mid-range challenge that tested the endurance and perseverance of the seasoned runners. Lasting an hour long, this segment witnessed the athletes pushing their physical limits and displaying remarkable feats of athleticism and inspiring the onlookers with their unwavering determination. The pinnacle of the marathon was marked by the 42 km run, a grueling test of stamina and resilience that unfolded over an astounding 3 hour duration. This ultimate test of endurance attracted the most seasoned and dedicated participants, who embarked on this journey and were pushing the boundaries of human potential. Each race had 3 female and 3 male winners, and in a gesture o commendation and acknowledgment, Fastlink, the esteemed sponsor of the event, honored and recognized the remarkable achievements of the winners.
